Rug Origin - Old Afghan Baluch grain bag; these are known as ‘balisht’. Circa 1950.
This example has an interesting diamond design to the face with a decorative closing panel at the top. The back is a stripped plain weave design.
The rug is made with fine lambs soft wool on wool foundation.
Hand washed and is ready for use.
