Antique Handmade Persian Qashqai Rug – 250 × 140 cm (8 ft 2 in × 4 ft 7 in)

This attractive antique handmade Persian Qashqai rug features a distinctive triple-medallion design, surrounded by numerous stylised flowers, birds, animals and small tribal motifs across a soft terracotta field.

The rug has a beautifully aged colour palette including terracotta, salmon pink, ivory, cream, deep navy blue, pale blue, turquoise, olive green, emerald green, soft yellow, muted gold, brown, black, burgundy and small lilac accents. The contrasting ivory and blue medallions create strong focal points, while the dark floral border frames the design beautifully.

Hand knotted from very fine lamb’s wool on a cotton foundation, the rug has a durable tribal construction and attractive vintage character. It is in great condition with a low pile and is suitable for regular household use.
