Rug Origin - This rug is an excellent example of Kazak weaving from the town of Gendje in the South Eastern Caucasus. The rug has six latch hook medallions on a red ground. The border is a well drawn example of the crab border which is also found on many Kazak rugs.
The rug is in good condition with even wear and low piles. Note there are a few scattered old re-weaves
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
