Antique Handmade Persian Qashqai Rug – 250 × 160 cm (8 ft 2 in × 5 ft 3 in)
This characterful antique handmade Persian Qashqai rug features a traditional triple-medallion design surrounded by numerous small tribal motifs across a softly faded red field. The geometric composition is framed by a narrow traditional border, giving the rug a balanced and authentic tribal appearance.
The naturally aged colour palette includes faded red, terracotta, rust, charcoal, dark brown, muted navy blue, ivory, cream, olive green, mustard yellow, soft grey, pale blue and small orange accents. Its mellow old colours and visible patina give the rug warmth, history and individual character.
Hand knotted from fine lamb’s wool using natural dyes, the rug has an attractive low pile consistent with its age. Approximately 70–80 years old, it remains in good antique condition.
The rug has been professionally hand washed and is ready for immediate use or display. Its durable construction makes it suitable for regular household use.
