Antique Handmade Persian Heriz Runner – 278 × 92 cm (9 ft 1 in × 3 ft)

This attractive antique handmade Persian Heriz runner features a traditional floral design arranged along a warm red field. Stylised flowers, leaves and geometric village motifs create a balanced composition, framed by a narrow angular border.

The runner has a beautifully aged colour palette including brick red, terracotta, dusty rose, soft pink, deep navy blue, ivory, cream, muted green, olive, warm brown, charcoal and small pale-blue accents. The natural dyes and mellow tones give it warmth and appealing antique character.

Hand knotted from very fine hand-spun wool on a cotton foundation, the runner has a durable construction and low pile consistent with its age. It is in good antique condition, has been professionally hand washed and is ready for immediate use.
