Vintage Handmade Persian Karajeh Runner – 345 × 105 cm (11 ft 4 in × 3 ft 5 in)

This attractive vintage handmade Persian Karajeh runner features a traditional series of geometric medallions, surrounded by numerous small tribal motifs across a warm red field.

The runner has a rich and varied colour palette including brick red, terracotta, deep navy blue, ivory, cream, dark green, olive, muted blue, soft pink, brown, burgundy, ochre and small pale-yellow accents. The naturally aged colours give it warmth, character and an appealing lived-in appearance.

Hand knotted from very fine hand-spun wool on a cotton foundation, the runner has a durable village construction, good pile and excellent furnishing quality. It is in great vintage condition, has been professionally hand washed and is ready for immediate use.
