This impressive antique handmade Persian Qashqai rug features a large geometric central medallion set within a softly coloured field filled with numerous traditional tribal motifs. Matching geometric designs appear in each corner, while several finely patterned borders frame the composition and give the rug a strong, balanced appearance.

The rug has a beautifully aged colour palette including soft terracotta, salmon, faded red, rust, deep brown, charcoal, ivory, cream, beige, taupe, muted blue, olive green and small black accents. The naturally mellow colours give the rug warmth, character and an authentic antique appearance.

Hand knotted from fine lamb’s wool using natural dyes, the rug has a soft handle, durable tribal construction and an attractive low pile. Approximately 70–80 years old, it remains in excellent antique condition.

The rug has been professionally hand washed and is ready for immediate use or display. Its generous size and strong construction make it particularly suitable for a living room, dining room, large bedroom, study or country-house interior.
