This characterful antique handmade Persian Qashqai rug features a large central medallion surrounded by numerous small tribal motifs, with related geometric designs repeated in each corner. The densely decorated field and bold dark border create a strong, traditional appearance.
The naturally aged colour palette includes faded terracotta, soft red, salmon, rust, deep navy blue, charcoal, ivory, cream, brown, taupe, muted blue and burgundy accents.
Hand knotted from fine lamb’s wool using natural dyes, the rug has a soft handle and durable tribal construction. Approximately 70–80 years old, it shows an attractive low pile and age-related wear consistent with its antique character.
The rug has been professionally hand washed and is ready for immediate use or display.
