This impressive vintage handmade Persian Tabriz carpet features a finely drawn central medallion surrounded by an elegant floral design on a rich deep navy field.

The carpet has a beautifully balanced colour palette including deep navy blue, burgundy red, soft red, pale blue, turquoise, ivory, cream, pink, muted green, olive, beige, brown and small gold accents. Pale-blue corner spandrels and a detailed floral border frame the design beautifully.

Hand knotted from very fine lamb’s wool on a cotton foundation, the carpet has a durable construction and attractive aged character. It is in good vintage condition with a low pile, has been professionally hand washed and is ready for immediate use.
