This attractive antique handmade Persian Qashqai rug features a distinctive linked-medallion design, with large geometric compartments filled with star motifs and smaller tribal details.

The rug has a beautifully aged colour palette including soft terracotta, salmon pink, brick red, deep navy blue, ivory, cream, black, dark brown, muted green, turquoise, pale blue, mustard yellow and small burgundy accents. The dark navy central medallion creates a strong focal point, while the ivory geometric border frames the design beautifully.

Hand knotted from very fine lamb’s wool on a wool foundation, the rug has a durable tribal construction and appealing old character. It is in great vintage condition with a low pile, has been professionally hand washed and is ready for immediate use or display.
