Fine Handmade Persian Bidjar Runner – 240 × 57 cm (7 ft 10 in × 1 ft 10 in)

This fine handmade Persian Bidjar runner features a series of elongated ivory medallions filled with the traditional Herati pattern, set against a deep navy field. A colourful floral border frames the design and gives the runner a rich, balanced appearance.

The colour palette includes deep navy blue, ivory, cream, red, burgundy, coral pink, pale blue, turquoise, olive green, emerald green, brown and black.

Hand knotted from fine wool on a cotton foundation, the runner has a fine weave, dense construction and good pile. It is approximately two years old and remains in excellent, as-new condition.
