Fine Handmade Persian Bidjar Runner – 260 × 55 cm (8 ft 6 in × 1 ft 10 in)

This fine handmade Persian Bidjar runner features a sequence of elongated ivory medallions filled with the traditional Herati pattern, arranged across a deep navy field. The finely detailed red floral border gives the runner a rich and well-balanced appearance.

The colour palette includes deep navy blue, ivory, cream, red, burgundy, rust, soft pink, pale blue, turquoise, olive green, mustard yellow, brown and black.

Hand knotted from fine wool on a cotton foundation, the runner has a fine weave, dense construction and good pile. It is approximately two years old and remains in excellent, as-new condition.
