This outstanding handmade Persian Kashan carpet is a superb example of classic city weaving, featuring an elegant central medallion set against a soft beige field filled with finely drawn scrolling vines, palmettes and delicate floral motifs. The beautifully balanced composition is framed by an intricate floral border, creating a timeless and sophisticated design.

The refined colour palette combines soft beige, ivory, cream, powder blue, sky blue, navy blue, sage green, olive green, muted gold, camel, taupe, pale brown and subtle burgundy accents, giving the carpet a warm and elegant appearance suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Hand knotted from very fine wool on a fine cotton foundation, this carpet displays excellent craftsmanship, crisp drawing and a beautifully balanced weave.
