This exceptional handmade Persian Saroukh runner is a finely woven city rug dating from approximately 15–20 years ago. It features an elegant all-over floral design, beautifully arranged along its impressive length with excellent symmetry and fine decorative detail.

Measuring 500 × 80 cm (approximately 16 ft 5 in × 2 ft 7 in), this unusually long and narrow runner is ideal for a substantial hallway, long corridor, entrance passage, landing or gallery-style space.

The runner has a warm coral-red field decorated with scrolling floral sprays, flowering plants, palmettes and classical vase motifs. Deep navy borders give the design strong definition, while accents of soft blue, ivory, muted green, blush pink and warm beige create a refined and balanced palette.

Hand knotted from very fine lamb’s wool on a fine cotton foundation, the runner has a dense, finely detailed weave and a soft, luxurious handle. Its strong construction makes it suitable for regular use in busy areas of the home.
