This attractive handmade Persian Karajeh runner is a fine village weaving dating from approximately 20–30 years ago. It features the distinctive geometric medallion design associated with Karajeh rugs, enriched with numerous small tribal motifs throughout the field.

Measuring 290 × 68 cm (approximately 9 ft 6 in × 2 ft 3 in), its long and narrow proportions make it especially suitable for a hallway, landing, corridor, entrance hall or alongside a kitchen island.

The runner has a warm brick-red field decorated with a sequence of ivory-framed hexagonal medallions and bold geometric motifs. Deep navy outlines provide strong definition, while accents of olive green, muted blue, soft pink, ivory and dark brown add depth and character.

Hand knotted from fine lamb’s wool using natural dyes, the runner has a strong, durable construction suitable for regular household use. The clearly drawn motifs and balanced colour palette give it an authentic village character while allowing it to complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.

The runner is in excellent condition, has been professionally hand washed and is clean, fresh and ready for immediate use.
