Vintage Handmade Persian Oriental Karajeh Runner – 173 × 75 cm (5 ft 8 in × 2 ft 6 in)
This attractive vintage handmade Persian Oriental Karajeh runner features a traditional village design with bold geometric medallions surrounded by numerous small tribal and floral motifs across a warm red field.
The runner has a beautifully aged colour palette including brick red, burgundy, terracotta, soft pink, dark navy blue, ivory, cream, muted green, olive, pale blue, turquoise, warm brown and small black accents. Its mellow old colours give the runner warmth, character and an appealing lived-in appearance.
Hand knotted from very fine hand-spun wool on a cotton foundation, the runner has a durable construction and good pile. It is in great vintage condition, has been professionally hand washed and is ready for immediate use.
