Antique Handmade Persian Karajeh Runner – 180 × 57 cm (5 ft 11 in × 1 ft 10 in)

This attractive antique handmade Persian Karajeh runner features a traditional village design with a sequence of bold geometric medallions and smaller tribal motifs arranged across a warm faded-red field.

The runner has a beautifully aged colour palette including soft red, salmon pink, dusty rose, burgundy, deep brown, charcoal, ivory, cream, muted green, olive, pale blue and small ochre accents. The naturally mellow colours and traditional drawing give the runner plenty of warmth and character.

Hand knotted from very fine hand-spun wool coloured with natural dyes, the runner has a durable construction, good pile and excellent furnishing quality. It is in great vintage condition, has been professionally hand washed and is ready for immediate use.
