This highly decorative handmade Persian Kashmar rug is an attractive city weaving dating from approximately 20–30 years ago. It features an elaborate garden-inspired design with a central floral medallion, scrolling vines, flowering plants, vases, birds and stylised animals.

Measuring 200 × 120 cm (approximately 6 ft 7 in × 3 ft 11 in), the rug is a versatile size for a living room, bedroom, study, entrance hall or dining area.

The rug has a rich burgundy-red field, densely decorated with flowing floral scrolls and classical garden imagery. A finely drawn central medallion combines soft pink, blue, ivory and green tones, while decorative vases and animal panels form an unusual architectural-style border.

Deep navy and royal blue provide strong contrast, while accents of coral pink, turquoise, ivory, olive green, golden yellow, warm beige and soft orange add depth and visual interest.
