This magnificent signed Persian Kashan carpet features an elegant all-over floral design arranged across a soft ivory field. Finely drawn scrolling vines, palmettes and delicate floral motifs are presented in refined shades of navy blue, pale blue, soft gold, muted green and warm brown, creating a sophisticated and beautifully balanced appearance.
Hand knotted approximately 20–30 years ago, the carpet has been woven using very fine wool on a fine cotton foundation.
The carpet’s generous proportions make it an impressive furnishing piece for a large living room, dining room, reception room or formal interior. Despite its size, the light ivory ground gives it an elegant and spacious appearance that can complement both traditional and contemporary settings.
