This attractive handmade Persian carpet originates from the Greater Hamedan region and dates from approximately 20–30 years ago. It features a richly detailed central medallion design surrounded by formal floral arrangements, decorative palmettes and finely patterned corner sections.
Measuring 325 × 245 cm (approximately 10 ft 8 in × 8 ft), this substantial room-size carpet is ideal for a living room, dining room, reception room, drawing room, formal sitting area or spacious bedroom.
The carpet has a warm coral-red and soft terracotta field, centred by an ornate medallion in deep navy, royal blue, ivory, pale gold, turquoise and soft pink. Floral sprays and decorative vases are arranged symmetrically around the medallion, creating a balanced and visually impressive composition.
The lower and upper sections feature finely patterned floral panels in deep navy, muted green, ivory, gold and red, while the broad floral border introduces further accents of soft blue, rose pink, olive green, pale yellow and warm beige.
